I need a new 30 series 6” torque converter driven with a 5/8” bore, and I’m wondering what is the best aftermarket and relatively cheap driven? I saw this one on GoPowerSports which is currently 50% off for a price of $39.95. Should I just get this one, or are there better ones? Thanks.

As far as I know they are all the same no matter if they come from ebay, amazon, or somewhere like BMI, OMB, or as you found GoPowerSports... exception being if you luck out and find a genuine original Comet30 (good luck last I knew the company is gone) which most definitely won't be cheap.

As Denny points out daily to someone...You do need to swap the belt from whatever cheap crap is on it to genuine Dayco, Manco, or 🤔forgot the 3rd one he recommends.
That's also assuming that retailer isn't decent enough to do the swap in house before they sell the stuff

Get a Genuine Comet belt. Or if you can find a Gates, Dayco or Manco. A Comet belt will outlast any pvc vinyl chineseum belt almost 10-1. More expensive at first. Way cheaper in the long run. It will save you having to tear apart and rebuild your clutches.
Also per board rules you should not start a new thread for each question you have. This way it keeps all related information together and more helpful to others over time.

like stated in post #2. They are all the same. I have 5 of them all on different karts and bikes from several different sources and they all perform the same.
Swap parts between all the time. NO difference.

Okay, I’ll keep both of those things in mind. Thanks for your help.

Okay, thank you. I ended buying one on Amazon. I hope it works well.
