Can anyone tell me if this is a good deal and or what brand or where to start finding parts for it? I can get this frame from a friend for 20$. It needs everything but what are your thoughts?! I really want a "race" kart but can't afford to straight but one so I'm looking to build one. Just don't know if this is a good one or not so thought I'd ask yall

Yikes. Impossible to tell what it is besides the obvious (race kart frame).

Are there any manufacturer name or data plates on it? A serial number?

I think $20 is too much for that derelict, stripped, rusty piece of junk. These are not some magical, rare item that is hard to find. Quite the contrary.

What's your budget?

Hmm I didn't see any numbers or names on it... I go in one on Craig's list for 75 obo and it has a bit more and not rusty. my budget isn't much at the moment to put out at once (second little man about to be here) which is why I don't care to build one

Well. You could go for it. A piece from here, a piece from there, build it up and learn a lot in the process.

Haggle on the price a bit, even though 20 bucks isn't much.

You'd just have to know this guy. If kid rock and joe dirt had a kid it would be him lol but here is the one on Craig's list. Think it's a better deal?

PS I wouldn't want it except if I can strip some parts off it (barings brakes, wheels axle perhaps..) then throw that frame in the bin

Sooo I should wait a bit and shop around a bit right? Lol I have a 2 seater but I'm wanting a one seater I can kinda go all out on..

Sure, you might find a stripped frame for cheap but all the specialized racing parts don't come cheap.

I'd get a simple one-seat yard kart and build it into a monster.
