so I found this REALLY nice seller on craigslist the other day, I was looking to buy a moped from them, but they already sold it. but told me they are selling a 1976 classic suzuki a100 gofer. Are these motorcycles? Or mopeds, and how much are they worth, the Guy/Girl < idk what sex is selling it sorry ^_^. they look like its in freaking GREAT shape. [Pic]

so tell me what you all would pay for it.

In great condition like the pic. It is a fair deal. I would not pay that much though. Parts will be harder to get for that year as well. For that price it should be complete and running with nothing needing work in perfect original or restored order.

One I found on Cl.

If I was you and wanting a bike like this. I would go into the 80's and look at the Yamaha DT line of bikes. Parts are easy and there are bullet proof. IMO If the bike is in perfect condition like the pic you posted. Then they are asking Vintage Bike Price. Offer a $1000 if it is perfect.

Those bikes are small and light. It will fell like riding a scooter but a little better and more power. Are you looking for scooter? I like the Italy Mopeds. Well made Mopeds

Yeah he took that picture himself. The guys an ex vet, as far as he tells me. he seems to be very attached to the bike itself. so Idk, in a way I feel bad trying to tell him its only worth $500 less. than again, thats an extra $500 I could spend on A LOT of things...

I'll check out the Yamaha DT line big. I'll let you know. I just need something that goes FAST :) and no I'm not looking for a scooter im looking for a low CC motorcycle, so I can go to my DMV office and register it as a moped/scooter so I don't need a motorcycle license. and I can get back and forth to work. without the dinky "Meep Meep" Mopeds. Plus I need to go on the highway. Cops are somewhat lean around here. as long as You follow the road rules. and have some sort of tag, they almost never pull you over.
