It looks like a go kart, a real one and not some quasi-kart/buggy hybrid. :D

How come you didn't ask what it was before buying?

It's a Carter Brothers Super Wheels. Correction: it is called a Hot Bodies.
I'm inclined to think it is a Model 1435.

If I'm wrong, it would be wise to go through these manuals and look at the exploded view diagrams and see you if you can positively ID it.

Thank you Hellion! I don't ask questions on a roller for the price I got it for.

Good answer. You don't look a gift horse in the mouth either. :D

You did well to find such a nice roller, even still has its seat cushion even if it's tattered a bit. Looks like you have a portion of a Torq-A-Verter on it already. What a bonus.

What now?

Well, I already ordered some new spindles to replace the bent ones, new brake band, and tires. Got to figure out a power plant for her, and tear it all down for some cleaning and blasting and paint. Still playing around with it all in my head. Picked it up for $75. 👍🏻

I couldn't tell anything was bent or broken on the kart. There's some people here who are geniuses at mending bent parts...

It's not a rust bucket like so many CL karts are. Maybe just a touch up on the rusty areas and a new coat of paint?

Powerplant? Duh.

Just the spindles were bent and welded and well, just easier to replace. 👍🏻
Got a Predator I built up a few months ago that I might as well throw on there. 🤓

That is a fine, immaculate looking engine. Would like to see more of it...

Excuse my late reply. BUMP.

Any updates?
