What happened?

As far as I know, the forum has been dead for about 12 hours hours, the site came back on(but not the forum) and hour or 2 ago and now we're in 2010 again?

Did the server crash in a bad way or something? Will all the stuff we've posted come back or is it all gone for good?

A similar thing happened on another forum I'm on, but we lost 4 years of stuff there....

I think Robert just had to restore back to an earlier date to get the forum running for now, and will eventually bring it up to date.

turns out the slowness was part of the boot up. the hard drives were doing some self-check type thing.
