What gearing combos have you tried and what worked best?

I've got a couple of kart projects here at home and im currently playing with setups.

If 6:1 is pretty much standard, who else has messed with combinations with a 54t axle sprocket, and what all combos have you tried with a 60t?

Just curious what everyone's take is.. and yes I know it depends on kart use and torque for final results, but I'm just acquiring broad knowledge here.

10:60 with 22x11x8 tires.

I'm running a 60T lower and a 10T upper. I had thought about going with a 54T lower for ground clearance but decided I'd rather have the extra torque verses top speed. I live on a hill and I'll be driving more in grass and on hills rather than pavement or on level ground. Plus I'll be carrying about 250lbs of weight with large rear tires (20x10-8).
