Just ordered a go kart! Can't find my old posts on gauges. The kart has a 12 volt battery and is air cooled. Id preffer analog gauges, but if I have to I will use digital. Ill be buying them on amazon let me know which ones work. thanks.

forgot to say what gauges sorry.

Cylinder head temp, speedometer, and possible tach. Already bought a cht gauge. It's used and from and from a harley. I don't have the cables to hook it up. and I have no idea how I would do so. The kart is on it's way. Heres the link to the cht gauge I bought http://www.ebay.com/itm/Harley-FX-F...Parts_Accessories&hash=item46036317f9&vxp=mtr

Heres the link to the speedometer. I don't know if it will work though. http://www.amazon.com/SCHOOL-BICYCL...BO/ref=sr_1_21?ie=UTF8&qid=1336617737&sr=8-21

Isn't there a cht gauge that will hook up around the spark plug?

Yeah the temp sensors for racekart gauges are like that, but chances are they'd have completely different resistance values and either not work at all, or not give accurate readings when connected to that Harley gauge.

Each brand/model of gauge has to use a matching sensor to read accurately. The gauges in fords, chevys and chrysler cars all use different resistance values from each other. Even when using racekart gauges, a Digitron brand temp sensor wouldnt read accurately connected to a Mycron temp gauge.
