How did you manage to get it to stick to the ceiling like that?

I need a good, close pic from the top of the unit to show whether both halves of the sheave are of an equal angle (symmetrical) or if one sheave is very nearly flat (asymmetric).

It'll be a series 30 or 20, if its A-Symmetrical it will be 30, if its symettrical its 20.... However I'm curious to if you've done research on the forums or watched some of my videos.

Look me up on youtube bro.

i have looked a little but it would be symmetrical, both sides are the same, as of now i only have the driver so i might just put that away for now and grab a normal centrifugal clutch until i can order the driven a belt and a jackshaft kit.

You might not just be able to put a centrifugal clutch on and hope that everything will be OK. Karts with TC's are generally geared a little higher than if you had a standard cent clutch. Count the number of teeth on the axle sprocket and post the result up here. We can then see if a cent clutch will work without a jackshaft. You are looking for around 6:1 or lower for gearing

i have a 72 tooth sprocket and the clutch im getting has 10 teeth for a gear ratio of 7.2:1 if im not mistaken
the tires are nearly the same size of the sprocket

I have enough clearance, since this kart has a live axle but is disable by a bearing in a hub on the pass. side, I decided im going to weld it on there since I have an extra 1" axle laying around:rolleyes:
