Wasn't it developed over here?

That's what they tell us...

Dont forget the Korean variant, Daewoo Lacetti Premiere. Lol.

We don't get Daewoos over here anymore... thankfully

Speaking of Holden, I debadged the rear of my Cruze and put a Holden badge on it.

:lolgoku: Do you know how many Commodores I've seen with bowties on them? I even saw one with Pontiac badging

I would swap over the rear bow tie and front to holden as well but the front end will be a lot of money and work right now. Heres a few more pics.

That would mean changing the whole grill, which could be expensive

The KegKart...yeah, I know, it doesn't have the keg on it yet, I'm using the cooler to hammer out the details, the keg goes on when it is painted.

here it is in mock up form...

350z Roadster

There's also a 150cc scooter I'm chopping and hacking on, but I haven't been that good about documenting the progress.
It started off as one of these (stock photo):

I've removed all the plastics, fabbed up a headlight mount for the front and installed PIAA pencil beam driving lamps, and started wiring up new controls. I plan to strip off anything from the frame used to mount plastics, stretch the rear swingarm/engine mount, run a 12x8 rear wheel vs the 13x3 that comes stock on it, lower the front end and replace the forks with billet stuff, swap in a set of clubman bars and form and fab a new seat in sort of a cafe racer style (flat with a high back and rear cowl.)

mwillika,
Nice Ranger. What are your plans for it? Camburg makes a nice LT suspension for them ;)

That car is a '77 Westfalia in green. It belongs to my brother, and the interior is in pretty good shape other than the foam in the front seat. I would have to go to my brothers house to take pictures.

Looks like this but not as nice.

40 Ford go kart

167.jpg
I've been restoring street rods my hole life, but found this 40 Ford fiberglass body at a swap meet in Louisville Ky. Stored in the rear of my shop for a couple of years until I had some down time on a project (36 Chevy). pulled this out and said "this should be easy". I could not have been more wrong. I found I know very little about go karts. Custom made frame, gx 200 electric start, torque converter clutch, disc brakes, headlights, taillights, turn signals & of corse, uooga horn. Took me way longer than I had planed. Grand kids really love this thing. Because Im not real smart I picked up a 32 roadster a few months ago. Now all I need is some more time.167.jpg
