what do you think of this? i'm tired of cfl's in my desk lamp, (they hurt my eyes) but is it worth the extra $?

LED light bulbs I've seen are horrible. The light output sucks, the color sucks, and they're directional.
Lights Of America recently had to make package changes as their claims of being equivalent to 40 and 60 watt bulbs were false.
