Just picked up this thing earlier this morning. I know next to nothing about karts so any help is appreciated. I know it's a B&S 5hp that has an a/m header and my buddy said it had some sort of air diffuser(?) in the carb. Other than that I dunno what make and model this thing is. I guess the best part about it is that I only gave 50 bux for it and it needs a chain.

where did u get this kart

it looks like someone has removed the seat and wheels then gone hell for leather with the black paint to get a better sale price

they even painted the wires

have u run the kart for a while yet, dont be sueprized if the paint burns off the exhaust and engine

check to see if theres any paint in the bearings

Lol, guys I'm not worried about the paint coming off of it. I still got a great deal on it I think. If I end up keeping it, I will strip the paint off and do it right. More or less just trying to find out what kind of frame i had. Figured some of you were bound to know.

Looks like an old Ken-Bar, or Clark to me. NOt sure about that gussett on the pass side of the front axle, looks like ghetto fab to me.

I'm with you - for $50, that's a SCORE, even if it were puke green.

This thing appears to be the ken-bar. I googled that and found one with the roll bars, but it did have the same frame design. Thanks for the suggestion. Maybe it'll help when I buy parts for it.
