What clutch?? Help

I bought a 7hp predator engine and was wondering what clutch goes on my part. My sprocket has 72 teeth and engine has a 5/16 shaft. So what do i ask people at the store for?

The 7hp predators actually have a 3/4 shaft. You may be thinking of a 5/16 keyway. I could recommend a clutch with a certain number of teeth, but I would need to know your tire size and weight to tell you. As for clutch, max torques are good for the price.

engine has a 5/16 shaft.

Unless you have a special predator it will have a 3/4" shaft with a 3/16" keyway.
Bmikarts.com have a #35 sprocket with 12t for $25.95
Depending on your wheel diameter this may be a good choice.

what size karts do you guys have, would one of those predator engines with a centrifugal clutch be strong enough for a buggy. baja dune150

I would reccomend a torque converter for anything offroad.
