The top one is the choke. Back ( present position ) for starting. After a short warm up push all the way forward for running. Bottom lever is the fuel supply. On to run off when not. If kart is going to sit without use for more then a week or so, it is a good idea to turn the fuel supply off while the engine is running and let the engine run the carburetor dry. Takes about 90 seconds. It will keep your carburetor from getting gummed up. Also since at times they sit unused for long periods it's a good idea to use a fuel stabilizer. I use sta-bil. Available at any auto supply shop. Cheap insurance.
