Or more appropriately...tinny. Almost like it was recorded with 1930's technology.
I use youtube-mp3.net to convert the song on youtube to a downloadable mp3 file. I started doing this one a friend got caught using limewire. She had unfinished downloads then connected to the Univ. of Pitt network and I guess the limewire IP set something off and she had to pay fines. For iPodw, can't you download and add music to your library then sync it without paying for it through iTunes? I really don't know since I use my Droid X as my music player.

Full of stupid ads and repeated songs, all day, every day? Yea, great.
I do the same as Redsox, just use an online converter to download as a MP3. Quick and easy.

Same crap, over and over and over.I'm a big fan of radio, I listen to it alot, but I also like to buy songs too. It's necessary if you are a big fan of music.
I listen to radio to hear new songs that I like.
I download the songs for free with my Zune subscription
I listen to music that isn't played on my local radio. Plus, local radio here is all ads. The most recent one I heard that was amusing was a rent-to-own rim shop so that "if you can't afford your 22's, you can still roll on 'dem 22's".

u got to pay like 40 bucks to get pandora ad-free for a year.
so ads and not being able to skip more than like 6 songs per station at a time is it...

You think you guys got it bad with the deja-vu radio crap... WE have Canadian Content laws. That's right, kiddies- our radio governing body, the CRTC (Canadian Radio and Telecommunication Commission) in it's infinite wisdom, decided several years back that we had to have Canadian related music crammed down our throats (Whoops- I meant, "we have to support our local artists). What that means is that 20% (I think it's still 20) of all music played on a Canadian radio station has to have Canadian involvement. Whether it's a band member, a producer, manager, whatever...
Lemme tell you something- I F'ing hate U2! But because some idiot stick producer or band manager or something involved with U2 happens to be Canadian, I get to hear that tripe 400 times a day- which is compounded by your typical radio "we only play like 3 songs from any given artist...

As a music lover (maybe even audiophile) I absolutely abhor the Canadian Content law. Back when I was a musician, I hated it then, too- even though it was "supporting" me.
I do not need to have my music dictated to me. I don't give a flying rat's rearend where I was born- If I want to listen to Pink Floyd, I'm danged well going to! If I think U2 is retardedly overrated and all their crap sounds the bloody same, does it matter if the manager's Canadian? Give it a rest...

Am I the only one that still buys CDs? I like the fact that you actually get something tangible, and can actually look at the cover art, or read the lyrics. Also works in my truck, and I can put it on Itunes if I really want.
Occasionally buy vinyl too if I see something interesting. I kinda like the warmth you get from it, it's more like a living thing than any digital media. Unfortunately the last independent record shops in town closed a while ago, so I can only get vinyl new online or from a bookstore.
