The smoke from Canadas fires by the Minnesota border choked us out here in the Detroit area. We had the worst air quality in the world! My whole plant was filled for 2 days. Had a day of relief yesterday, but moving back in today. Bring some rain already!!!!!

Smoke is everywhere! We are getting it from all directions! We're surrounded!
Rain is great, but this time of year it is accompenied by thunderstorms and lightning. The rain puts out one fire and starts another. Then the desert wiind takes the ball and runs. We have fire crews from several surrounding states helping out. High temps and low humidity, wind and idiots make a bad situation. Lots of property damage.
Yes oregon has deserts, lots of em east of the Cascades. Here in the valley, west of the Cascades we are in the rain forest. Fires are possible but less likely. Fires on this side are generally caused by stupidity.
Doppler radar reported some 1200 strikes in a two hour period.
It has been an unusual year, due in part to us humans f....ing with the planet, ahhhh l mean not paying enough taxes, no, thats not it, electing idiots. Thats it!
There l go again acting like an old crumedgeon! Oh, wait.....
