Took a couple shake down runs around the block with the kids. A couple times to adjust the throttle, lost the key in the brake drum so we had no brakes. Fixed those things. Then I got it going pretty good. I think I still need to do some adjustments to steering.

I decided to take each of the kids for a turn in a dirt patch by our neighborhood. I thought it would be fun to just dip the tire in the mud hole. Yeah, as soon as the tire hit the mud it pretty much sucked us in. This is with the daughter who gets scared easily and is really sensitive. So yeah, the worst option to cover with mud. She is happy now that she is clean, not sure if she will ride with me again.

Yeah, I had tinted safety glasses on, but the mud went right under them.
That sucks. You got it out now? I guess full-seal is the way to go. How's the Yerf Dog treated you? I haven't even finished my streaker and I already want something else.

Yeah, wife helped me flush my eyes. I have an eye phobia so I can't put use eye drops or anything myself.
It went pretty good, especially for it being the first day up and running. It's a full rebuild.

I also have eye phobia, it's nice to have her help.

Yeah, my phobia is bad. Like I can't handle stuff like pencils/pens pointing at my eyes. I can't handle stores that have the little rods/pegs whatever that they hang items on, like Dollar Tree. There's not a snowballs chance in Hell I could wear contacts.

Oh gosh. I'm not like that but I'm not a fan of eye related injuries and such. I like my eyeballs quite a bit. And the Terminator scene where Arnold repairs himself, I saw him going for the eye and I was like,"Nope, I getting that out of my head if I see it."

NOW what you need to do Dad, with that TWO SEATER is slide over and ride
shotgun. You're right there with access to the kill switch,( you do have a kill switch don't you ) so you can stop the show if they get in over their head. That is the beauty of a two seat kart. You can be right there to coach and guide them as they learn to drive. It is a lot less nerve racking, as compared to sending them out on their own and HOPE they don't get into trouble as you stand helplessly watching from a distance. It also gives them a big confidence boost having Dad sitting right there telling them what to do. GO for it. IT'S why you bought a two seater, isn't it.

Yeah, I need to install a kill switch, I was thinking about that. It just has the one on the engine. I also need to figure out why the seat isn't sliding....
