I am high school senior taking a welding class. I want to make a go kart from scratch and race it. Can anybody please send me demensions of a go kart chassis.

Just google racing go kart frame deminsions, i just did and all kinds of stuff came up on it.

I'll narrow it down a little for you; here is a basic plan which uses more welding than bending to create the shape; WARNING: The finished product may not be suitable for competitive racing...

research all the different kart makers with pictures and or give measurements for there product and come to your own idea or version of your kart its much easier building one with your own guidelines or what you fill acceptable rather than trying to weld something with equipment and professional expensive tools(jigs) you dont have. theres not much fun in building something that someone already has, thats part of the fun with gokarting i think
