Weld it parallel to the tubing, put a bead on both sides. center the hanger on the tubing and you should be fine.

that's one I did a while ago.

Ignore the angle it was there before I got the frame.

Alright, thanks for the help, that's exactly what i needed to know!

Should i add any extra support on the hanger, or does it stay on just fine? no bending or welds cracking.

You could weld on some angle so there is a flat surface and weld the hangers onto that. It would be stronger with the 2 flat surfaces overlapping and would be easier to get exact.

I have the exact same hangers on an old Coyote Enduro that I have, and what I did was get some 1" wide 1/8" thick steel strap, cut a half circle in one side, cut it to length, and weld that to the sides of the hanger. I put the hangers off to the inside since I am using bearing cassettes and welded them up. What it looks like is kind of like the picture of the bearing hanger that wall gator posted.

Yeah, before i start welding, im really going check and check again for it to be perfectly even. I think im going to be welding it just straight onto the round tubing. Ill post pictures of my progress. By the way, this is going on a Manco 415 kart.
