As some of you may know, I'm doing a build for the " Gokart Alley, The Series" production- ( located in the "Off-Topic section).

Anyway, I could really use some weld through primer but don't know where to source it.......

Weld though primer?

Id be taking it off before welding

Requardless what they claim there is going to be contamination on the weld

And if it really doesn't end up in there then it's burning off and your breathing it in
Real bad

Wurth zinc rich weld through primer, as the name suggests, can be welded through, it's common practice in panel beating to prevent rust between panels butt welded together.

However, it's specifically designed for spot welding & does create a little excess spatter when MIG or stick welding

Yeah- that was my intention- I planned on being in one spot while welding- jeeze, I'm still learning- now you want me to weld and dance at the same time? ???:lolgoku:

Hopefully tonight I can post up some "nuts and bolts" type stuff-( if I'm not too tired)...

But right now- I'm taking a short break and decided to do a little philosophical raving.

I approach restorations much like everything else I do in life. I set ridiculously high expectations from the start. This keeps me pushing at 110%. The trick is to not let failure get you down- because that is built in from the start. But rather to sit back at the end of the day and focus on the positive- even if it's below reasonable expectations. The only reason to ever even slightly ponder failure is to formulate a better approach for the future.

A good example is Cancer: Everyone has heard "you have to fight" and "attitude is everything". Well I can tell you that these statements are 100% true. In my case, I decided that I wasn't going to let it even slow me down a little bit. Did it? Well, not really the Cancer, but the treatment. ....it totally kicked me in the junk before it was over. It's still kicking my azz today. I would be lying if I didn't say there are days I just break down and cry. But I take that same attitude towards everything now and it works. ......
