Water in the engine oil

Oy vey. I knew it had been parked outside but I didn’t expect this. Anyone have any suggestions?

I figure I’ll change the oil with something cheap and run it a little and then change it to some good stuff.

Anyone have this issue before?

If you suspect it hasn't been in there that long.. I'd just refill and forget it..
If it's really watery.. I'd open it up and actually check out the interior...

I couldn’t tell it had water in it till it started puking it out. I’m afraid the oil will foam if there is water residue. Figure it’s been in there a while.

Really don’t want to crack it open.

Are you sure its water and not gas???
What engine is this we are talking about?

What color is it?

Pretty sure hasn’t had gas in it for a couple years. Has dirty appearance and appears much too thin. It was pretty water saturated when I got it. It’s the only thing that makes sense. When I drain it I will see if it will separate.

I’ll let you know what I find.

Was hoping someone had an idea on how to remove any water left over after the draining.

It’s the gy6 150cc. It’s on a Kasea LM150llR. Seem to be coming from the vent pipe on the valve cover.

It made such a mess it’s difficult to tell to be sure. Hopefully I didn’t blow any gaskets.

I’ll try to post pics after I drain it.

I'd drain it and run cheap oil of the same multi-viscoity that you'll use in it and use that oil to more or less flush out all the old oil out. Then do a tear down of the engine. That way you know if it's been inside the engine long (rusty internals).
