I don't want to sound like a jerk, here, but could you please make an attempt to write in a fashion that doesn't require so much effort to try to read? Thanks.

Have a look here, If you don't have any experience then just build a small single seater one with an industrial engine (ie Briggs, Honda clone ect). Ask your school if your allowed to build one first, apparently your not allowed to build go karts in West Australian (where I live) schools anymore because some kid crashed one into a truck and was killed.

The plans are easy to follow. The sidewinder was my first major project and it's turned out to be a great toy, but I'd built a small gokart before it which helped a bit with the welding.

sorry to burst your bubble but it is very hard to start at the top.
suspension is complex and different types have there advantages and disadvantages.

no plan is gay, some are just easier to construct or cheaper

(plans cannot be gay, hey are not gender specific)

there is no shame in building from plans... if anything it is often the smart/safe decision.
A lot of the R&D is done before you even start construction if you go off someones plans... if you use your own plans expect to pay 2X as much. and thats no joke, R&D is expensive, so unless you think you are bringing something new to karts, why bother?

if on the other hand you plan on building something that hasn't been done then by all means build it and show us all.
