The war yak! Just a simple build , old golf cart turn into a four-wheel drive ,dual motor ,six wheeled beast of burden, capable of total destruction of human life. With a monkey machine gun nest on top !
# does anybody have a monkey for sale? #may have to train a raccoon.

This is a early '90s Yamaha g29?? Started it's life as electric cart, but we currently I have a Duromax seven horse, with a comet torque converter ,and a cheap Chinese reverse gear. The plan is to add a second axle with differential. An additional Duromax ,with a torque converter to run the second axle. Making it four-wheel drive with limited slip differentials.

Chop chop! Little work getting done today. Still trying to figure out the engineering side.

Still chopping and can only find two examples of a six-wheel golf cart on the internet. #3

Some progress welder up today! Willie said don't say a thing about my welding! I'm independent and white-owned! Also I'm leaning towards a nine horsepower motor with a torque converter as my main drive motor. And run the seven horsepower as a secondary motor. That also has reverse. Which will run in neutral when the main drive motor is going forward. So currently the plan is the nine horsepower will drive the back axle as the main mode of transportation. And the front seven horsepower will only be used for reverse and four wheel drive. Now my brain is spent back to drinking beer!

Okay the nine horsepower is a little big. Sober me says keep it simple. So I'm rethinking. Go with the nine horse with the converter and hook the two axles together with the chain. Question?? The ultimate goal is good slow speed crawling capacity and also be able to pull.

If the two diffs are connected by a chain, the axles will need to be solidly, rigidly connected together parallel. Otherwise any pitch and yaw of one versus the other will cause the chain to misalign and fall off.

That's my thought, plan on welding the two together. Not really looking at a rock crawler, more just a swamp buggy. That will give me full time four wheel drive .

you could use those 4 tires as bogey wheels. With studded tires being used as tracks it would go through the swamp no problem.

The two back tires are actually 10 inches apart not sure how big of a tire will end up on the back. But should not have a problem turning due to the differentials. And the 9 fits 😀
