i have a few surplus items from WWII
a tool box, which i use cause the thing is awesome (no crappy plastic stuff) and i use some tools from the era, but they arent actually war items.
a stainless air tank that was used for breathing in planes. great for airing up tires and stuff w/o having to drag a hose out.
a canteen that i use when camping.

oh and a German rifle my grandfather sent back when he was serving in Germany. (as a truck driver/mechanic... i guess thats where i get my mechanical ability lol)
the stock was shortened to make it more comfortable to shoot, so its not original.
never got to shoot the thing cause its illegal to discharge firearms around my house (i HATE living in urban areas!!)
but i really wanna go hunting with it (as its not a plinking gun, the rounds arent cheap, so you better be using them well.)

i prob have a few other items, but cant think of them off hand lol

i should get some pics of the stuff lol
i like older tools and stuff. got all sortsa old stuff cause my fathers side of the family (where i got all the stuff i mentioned) is know for being pack-rats lol.

EDIT:
oh, i have an American gas tank! looks similar to the German one, but it still has paint.
and we still use it to store gas lol

and thats a very nice collection! :)

if i had some pics right now, i'd post them, but i gotta go out and take some lol
and im not sure what kind the rifle is exactly, i know it uses 8mm mouser rounds, and its got an iron sight that goes wayyy up.
i googled K-98, and from what i remember, its not quite like that one.
its locked up in our gun cabinet (for which i dont have a key), and idk if my dad would like me posting pics of that online lol.
crap, i reallllyyyy wanna do some shooting with it! lol

maybe tomorrow i will take some pics of my stuff.

though that air tank i mentioned did make an appearance in a pic i posted before...
its in the upper-right corner of the 2nd pic in my "Ghetto Motor-Scooter" thread! lol

I have a Mosin-Nagant that was made in 1942. Russian surplus. I like how the sights go up to 2000m hehe. It still has the wood stock on it, but I have a plastic Monte stock I want to put on it instead.

Its got some spanish writing on it, and a picture of like a lion or something. I was told it was from Panama.
