Wanting to moped a bmx scooter

Hello all i want to purchase a bmx style scooter, u noe the ones that came out like in the early 90's and put a engine on the back, i was thinkin 49cc to 125cc how would i go about mounting the engine to the rear and getting a sprocket on the rear wheel? Thanks you for any help, i appreciate it alot im also 6'3 sp i guess id also have to extend the handle bars too.

Not sure that anyone on here has done that to one of those before. I could tell you that you'd probably have to make a mount on the rear to hold the engine and you'd have to add a sprocket to the wheel somehow to make the engine turn it. Another option would be to go with a friction drive and have the output shaft of the motor touching the wheel.

check out tzi's scooter page, there are like a hundred of those things people have built with everything from startor motors, drills, chainsaws, to large 4 cycle engines. weedeater motor's w/friction drive are the most common. I even saw one w/a horizontal engine coupled to a 4" grinder gear box...
