I rebuilt my first mb165 for my nephew for Christmas
New motor and all
It came together great and I wanted to say thanks for some of the help and advise I got as well as the jack shaft from gram

The things runs great!!

I was having a really tough time getting the rear BRAKE (lol) adjusted correctly and started to think I was a moron. I went ahead and ordered a new one and bam 2 mins later it was operating perfectly
The old one was just to stretched out I guess

Here's the finished product

Looking forward to many more projects
Dave

They are an awesome bike. I've got a Baja mini, which is the same kinda thing. They run forever on a tank of gas, lol.

Great job, just know that if you absolutely need to replace the clutch with a tq you can install a front brake fairly easily on these suckers.

In addition you may consider getting a working tank for a fun mod, older mustang bikes make good tanks and I've seen some members do diy fire extinguisher tanks.
