Wanted Gas Cap

I am looking for a gas cap to fit my Chaparral project. The hole is an 1 1/4". Chrome would be great, but at this point I just need something to keep the gas in the tank.



I would like to keep it under $20 but it is something I kind of have to have

Hey, go to a motorcycle shop near you. That is a common size / style cap.... I will look n see if i still have a spare from one of my Hondas. .... If i dont repost again, PM me cause i forget sometimes....

Yeah, I found a spare but the inside is not real clean. The outside can be cleaned up n be nice again.

Its the center peice thats rusty....but after 35 years, you would expect that. Its from a 1978 honda atc 70.....

Just a thought but, have you tried a Honda GX/Predator/clone cap?

My GX160 has a 1&1/2" opening, same as my 212 predator..... Great idea though. Highwaystar, hit up your local auto parts (orielys or AutoZone) and got to the small engine "section" before you send me the $$. Or a small engine/lawn mower shop. I KNOW I had a kart engine that THIS cap fit.... Just sayin..... Id rather have a new one if I can get it cheap,or just as cheap.... Its up to you, I can always just "hold" it for ya, if you wanna look around a minute. I promise it will be on "hold" till you tell me either way. I have had it for about 8 years, it aint going no where.... lol
