i have a metals class in school so i want to buld a mini chopper which i allready started a few days ago:] i also want to make an off road go kart not like the one on this site one like this http://www.sadik.net/gokart/ its cool cuz all the metal for these project i can get for free

so my question here is that im going to need a bunch more parts like 2 engines tires springs for the kart etc... so wut is the best place where i can get cheap parts??? most things in ebay are the same price as stores

northern tool i would suggest for the frame parts and what not and harbor freight or ebay for a motor. mini chopper, go with a OHC briggs intek or similiar (something about 6 hp) and for the go kart go with a bigger 16 horse power OHV with E start

better yet, for the kart, look for a dirt bike engine. it can have gears and even reverse with E start. some examples:

this is what i got. tires and all that other **** just look on craigslist.
i got my **** like the frame wheels tires sterring and all that stuff for 40 $$ and its all like new. plus the 130$ engine i was at 210$$for a go kart. plus the clutch from northern tool http://www.northerntool.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/product_6970_200310370_200310370
