Want to build go kart with Friends

Hey everyone I’m new to this website and haven’t had much time to see what’s what but I’ll get straight to what i need some advice on. Me and my mates are planning on building a go kart from steel square hollow tubes im not sure what the best mm tubes are for the project but we know how to weld etc. We are planning on using a dirtbike engine and reusable parts from other things such as brakes etc. I know this post isn’t much detail I’d just like to know what’s the best steel I should get and how much I’d need of it. Also we have a few plan designs

I think you should take a look at kartfab's website (KartFab.com)
or his build thread for that matter
he offers free plans on how to make a square tubed kart..
and at least can serve you well for some good hints, tricks and materials
And with any modification to that or more in depth questions, just feel free to ask
