Want a rediculously overpowered VW beetle?

I was looking around at a place in Jackson called Marshall Motors, they specialize in classics and project cars. I saw this bug, didn't read the window and looked inside, then I went .

375-400hp, ~500ft lbs in a beetle, a 455 tornado powertrain in the back. TH425 where there should be a little motor. I'll let the ****ty pictures do the talking.

Its just dirty with some surface rust on the custom frame, no rot that I could see, the pan appeared to be new. All in all it looks like you could have a bad *** car if you added

-race seats w/6 pts
-full roll cage
-controls need hooked up
-minor paintwork
-engine needs enclosing
-mufflers?

...really? i think bugs are pretty sexy actually...a nice lowered bug, with some nice rims and slicks...whatever floats your boat though i guess. I would kill to get my hands on a cheap bug.


4600 seems a bit steep, but i supposed there is a lot of work into it. Still a pretty sweet ride, ultimate sleeper.

$4600 is steep, this is a specialist dealership you know. I think $3000 would be pretty fair. It looks like its been sitting for a while, apparently nobody completely insane with enough money has spotted it yet. It almost appears as if somebody got this thing together enough to go around the block, and then realized it was a suicide machine.

No, too much torque, it would just wheelie when you tried climbing a dune. The olds and buick 455 were both good for 500+ft lbs and ~400 hp from the factory.
