You guys are nuts. What happens when your iphone or GPS decides the vibrations are too much, and dies? Or it pops off it's mount at speed? Or you wipe the kart out?
Must be that "disposable income" I heard about...
Nahh. I have a blackberry that my dad used to have it for work. It has a case with a belt clip that you can wear around. I would just use the Speedometer app so I can see my max speed, or if I want to see my speed at any given time. Plus, it requires no data plan (it uses the gps) so essentially, my the speedo on my blackberry is free. And I think it will survive the vibrations if you are holding it, or it's clipped to you. I think the only time vibrations would be a problem is if you clipped it right to the kart it's self, without anything absorbing the vibration. So for me, I feel comfortable with my blackberry in my pocket, or clipped to me, in in it's case.
iPhones on the other hand... I have never been a fan of apple. And those things cost so much, and they have a touch screen to crack.
