I test drove the KM24 on the road and it feels good down low but it is fat on the main jet and I need to lean the main jet out in order for the engine to pull some revs it is better to start out fat on the main and then work down so you don't burn your engine down. The desert lake bed is really hot during the day right now but I might be able to do some morning runs this next week and get some laps down in order to see what this engine will do.

Wankel Rotary Combustion Engines.

The one on the left is a OMC 528cc that can put out 35 or 45 HP depending on which ignition system is used on the engine and it is currently unrestored.

The center engine is my ported 303 Sachs engine that I had on my kart to start with.

The engine on the right is a Sachs KM24 that I currently have on my kart and it is awaiting testing it is 295cc's.

Open lake pipe that requires ear plugs!
Bald tires that I need to change before engine testing.

All were removed from snowmobiles?

The OMC and the 303 were in snowmobiles and the KM24 was out of a experimental small car that a professor built and he had died and his son put it in a ad where I live and I happened to see it right after he posted the ad and I bought it I tore it down to check it out and it is perfect inside and out the recoil had not even been used it was electric start and I still have all of the wiring and starter and such he even sent me pictures of the car that his father had built and had the engine in and some old wankel manuals so if you keep a eye out and you really want one you can find them I had one that was N.O.S. at one time but I sold it in order to go out of state desert racing and I have never stopped kicking my a$$ for that and I will never sell another one again! That little jeep of yours is so cool great job! You have talent my friend:thumbsup:

The KM24 runs great! Better than the ported 303 stronger all through the powerband I like it! I spent the day in the desert testing it out and changing the jetting I do have a slight miss possibly bad points I am going to check them again but otherwise the engine is sweet!

Where did you get the wheels?

Hi,
I picked up the rear wheels and axle from Willards Small Engines,
I have a whole bunch of the fronts that were given to me as payment from a scooter company that went out of business they are Asuza Tri Stars.

Could work... I need to know the size basically. Dimensions, etc. And, is that german writing I see on it? now I'm interested.
About 11 inches in diameter and yes it is made in Germany this engine is a rare one but a good one indeed!
