Thanks Jim.
I 'll measure up but not sure how much space I have for this 2 " pipe. its getting pretty tight back there. The picture only show my first draft of the haust system im, on rev 3 now. Which includes an expansion chamber and custom muffler but as I said still too load. I will get better pics later.

I love the toy VW you have in the photo as well. I only noticed it second time round i read this post. I circled it in red for those who also missed it

Kart has been hitting some shows. Even raced it in a soapbox race. slowest down the hill and fastest back up.

This is the most awesome thing I think I've ever seen...what a craftsman you are. Impressive!

Drag racer

I took the little Bus to our annual VW drag day. My wife raced but alas lost out to a 4 stroke engine with a higher top end. Had the strip been shorter we would have had him, as the acceleration with the 2 stroke was much faster. Next year maybe.

Comon what?

This forum has an "introduction" thread, an "electrical projects " thread, and a "general discussion " thread.....

Ya think maybe one of those might have been more appropriate to place the post?

It's pretty common knowledge that it's poor etiquette to post unrelated material on someone else's thread....and....this has to qualify.

I understand that you may be completely clueless as to how forums work....but I'm also sure you were directed to read some rules and such before posting!

So basically....you're hijacking a thread and posting in the wrong section....(and a couple of other things) ....not trying to run you off....but....maybe you could try again?
