I am building a Viper ST. I really like these plans. This is as far as I got so far. I ran out of welding wire. Here are some pictures.

I would ditch those wheels real fast. They loo like those Harbour Freight dolly wheels. They are definately not up to being run on a kart and will fail very quickly

If they are, in fact, cheap HF wheels, it would be a shorter list to say what's good about them, which is nothing!

-The rims themselves are made of thin, soft steel
-The bearings will disintegrate in about 5 minutes at speeds above 10mph
-Ditto for the tyres
-The word precision doesn't exist anywhere in the production of those wheels

The $5 HF wheels are dolly wheels, not go kart wheels & are only meant to be used for light duty, low speed applications

I have a bunch of similar wheels, I use them on the front of my daughters go kart because it's only a low speed kart, & on my kart trolley but, even the pair on the front of my 5mph riding mower are starting to break after only about 5 hours work...
