I'm going to guess.
The drive or off drive side? Not in the middle.
It got bent as the tires are hanging a little off of being supported properly when you gaver.
If in the middle, might be the same.

Need pics of the damage.

I would bring the rear wheels in closer and put a third bearing in since you won't be able to get the wheels in too close with the driveline and brakes where they are.

Also, I'm gonna put my vote in that the hoop behind the seat won't do much for you at anything above 5 mph.
