hello everyone.. i have a few questions on a go kart i recently purchased, and this looked like a good place. its a 2010 american sports work carbide 150cc go kart. i bought it used. everything has been fine until the belt broke, i bought a new one and during installation i found out the rollers were completely destroyed. i replaced them with 10 gram sliders, and i have no idea what stock ones were. since that it ran great.... for a few hours. it now(very violently btw) jerks pretty rough when i accelerate, and if i manage to get past 10 mph without stalling from it jerking it runs fine but that doesn't happen to often. any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks!

I took all the components of the torque converter off and they went into the parts cleaner, I let them fully dry( the clutch didn't look worn at all) an reassembled it... And it still does it?!? The belt send to be the right size and is in new condition. I can barley ride it oh because it stalls out after violent jerking when I give it gas.:( plz help

no, no rust, looks fairly new, and it has 10 gram sliders in it.
also: waht would cause an engine to start right up with no problem when its cold but then just sit there and crank once its warmed up??

Look at those two statements together; why do you think the battery is dying?

I think Fabroman might be on the right track. The starter uses a LOT of juice and the charging coil puts out very little so if you crank on it a lot or dont run the engine long enough between starts you'll just keep draining it until it's dead. I had the same problem with my old kart.
