Victa Bike Build

[Fallenleopard]

It's a BMX bike with a 160cc victa on the side, friction driven. Just sprayed the cylinder Rocket Red, took the engine apart to clean it up. Here is some pics.

sweet... did you have to weld? when i was going to build a friction bike i tried brackets and stuff, didnt work well.

but i have a welder now... makes it so much easier... exept if the bike is alum lol!

The Victa bike is now in a runnable state which is pretty much done except for some fine tuning and i need to make a proper fuel tank bracket but that will come in the future.
It has a twisty throttle like a motor bike and works pretty well has a kill switch...its just the power button of a computer and it works
haven't tested it yet because it has been raining should try it sometime this week and have a video up.

nice idea of the throttle... almost every bike i have built has that mountain bike gear twist. got the idea from a guy at a bike shop.

Edit: wow lol just watched the vids, pretty cool bike!
Is there any way you could put on some sort of clutch so you can stop without the engine dying?
