value of honda odysseys?

i have a friend who has a hobby ATV shop and he has a TON of random parts and stuff for all makes and models of atvs...well he has two honda odysseys sitting in the middle of a bunch of stuff. one is mostly complete just needs top end i believe he said and some miscellaneous parts...the other is just a frame. any idea how much these two karts are worth and if i might be able to make some money buying and fixing these karts? i live in east texas to give yall a point of reference. thanks

id say 300 for the both of them, but it really depends on the condition. if its rust free, and all the parts are there, maybe 400. if its all rusty, and not saveable, dont buy it. but if it can be fixed with alot of work make him go 200. lets get some pics!

FL250 Odyssey Craigslist

This will bring up a bunch of Odysseys accross the USA. It will give you an idea of value.

For a very clean FL250 with bad motor is about $500. Good motor $800

Ruff condition bad motor about $200 Good motor about $350

Basket case about $150 to $200 depending on condition.

With the ody a complete bike is important. They have speacial everything and can get spendy buying parts. A new top end is under $100 if your jug just needs honed.

If you send me a pic I can give you an idea. Also ody's are simple to mod with sled engines. Here is what I am doing to mine.

If it is yellow is has the points. If it red it has the CDI. Much better if red.

@bluethunder: i will try to get some pics the next time i go to his place...they are gonna be hard to get to cuz they are literally in the middle of a bunch of other atvs and dirtbikes lol.
@bighead: they are both red and i believe he said one was mostly complete. the other i guess is in the basket case category cuz its just a frame, maybe the front fender.
the good thing is that i can probably get em for free cuz he was asking 350 for both odesseys and a huge dune buggy type kart with volkswagon engine in it...he has been trying to get rid of alot of his stuff so i can probably get both next to nothing...im just tryin to figure profit margins cuz its hard to sell stuff in my neck of the woods. thanks for the info tho

From what your saying the huge buggy thing with a VW motor is worth the most. Whats that buggy like? A mini buggy you say? I would take a close look at that buggy.

A fair condition Ody parted out on ebay would bring you well over $500. Does it have a headlight on top? They are over $100. The pull start is over $100. The gear reduction box is about and over $100. Good axle $100. Good seat? $100 Look on ebay for fl250 parts. You can make a killing. even more if the plastic is good.

Just make sure you give me first dibs on the headlight,engine, primary clutch, taillight and probably some other stuff.

went to his house today and i had made a mistake....RED one is the frame only one, but it does have fenders and headlight. YELLOW is mostly complete but needs top end. both are probably 6/10 just by looking at em where they sit. might be a little better if they are cleaned up.
