Run a UNI filter, and oil it up. Will take care of that problem right away. I run them on all my karts and I don’t have any issues with dirt getting in to my carbs. You can find them on amazon. Just make sure it the right ID for your air filter adapter.

Just opened my cone and there’s dust all over the inside. I have a cheap Amazon one. Any recommended cone replacements? I primarily need one for space reasons.

@Hellion mentions it all the time, as do other members BUT make sure you research and find a sufficient filter for the environment you drive in. Those "stage 1" filters are literally useless.

Here's the filter that comes with the "stage 1" kit from Gopowersports. It's maybe 10 hours in a pretty dusty environment.

-and then here's my "upgrade"
also spenny WHAT CAM DO YOU GOT i know mines bad but gawd dammm

or was that your picture?

I don't know how long you've been running it like that with the cone filter but if it's, say, several weeks or a month of good usage, you might want to check your ring gaps. The factory air box is tops IMO. Edwin's thread keeps paying dividends. ✅
