hella guys its been awhile if yall remember i was building this silly project which is only getting sillier lol, anyways i thought up of a new look an so began my quest i was planing on building something new but i just had to do this last update on the old project ,by adding some front shocks/spring to the front because the ride can get pretty rough once all the sand/mud dries up in this california desert heat, which now feels smoother but somehow i mustve did some wrong measurements cuz now my front end is alot wider then before which is fine at the same time i decided to redesign the darn thing, its far from done,an since im gonna redo my rearend to match the front i decided why not put a different motor, now my question is, a lifan 250cc v twin 5 spd good enough cuz i never owned anything that rolled on wheels below a 1.6 liter so im unsure if power will be an issue or not as this thing isnt the lightest of go karts an ill also be changing my bars to 1 1/4in x .83 wall round tubing unless you guys think it needs more beef haha or wat do you guys recommend watever you guys think of fill me in the more i know the better ,oh an thanks in advance ,heres some phone cam photos for now first pic is what it use to look like second is most recent

Something that big is going to be a dog with a lifan 250. Those things only put out like 15hp. What you need is to find a wrecked Kawasaki Ninja 500.
