I am going to build a few of them. The Chevelle I have owned since 1994..I have several old ones..Two of them are 57 chevys.
I bought a tubing bender for small stuff at Northern. Its a pile of CRAP. I wish my big bender could do small stuff. I am trying to put the safety rail around the seat right now and it kinks the tubing. Getting ticked off.

I've found if you bend just a little bit and then move it over just
a little and keep doing this it works better but takes patience.
I've heard if you fill the pipe with sand and seal the ends it
works as well. The best thing I found is that galvanized plumbing
pipe bends really nice for sharp corners, so I use this in those areas where those kind of curves are needed

That is one impressive shop you have there. The differential given you any trouble yet? I remember reading that you thought you would blow it up.

The shop is my auto repair business. I just play with toys after hours...No,I have yet to blow up the differential and I am less afraid of it now. You notice in the video that I put a second set of bearings (Carrier Bearings) next to the differential to brace it against flexing. The cheap Northern differential has so much flex without the extra bearings that the chain would jump under a load.
