Hey scott, that hiking trip sounds pretty sweet man

Yeh I'm hoping so, its one of the few things scotland has to offer. Its called the west highland way and can be as easy or as hard as you want.
Easy's for the English though ;)

Oh, which reminds me, I left a couple out.

-Running. Nothing incredibly great. Ran my best mile last week at 7:35 (on hills, the day after running 3 miles). I figure I could probably get down under 7 on a track if I didn't run for a few days prior. Certainly not too shabby considering I've only been running since September.

-Traveling. Domestic and international. Been to Canada, Iceland, Romania, Bulgaria, Serbia, Croatia, and Hungary. Will be going to Denmark, Norway, and Sweden in June/July.

Depends on where ARCA race schedule is
Hey there is some pretty neat stuff here guys. I also used to be a runner myself. In highschool I ran track and cross country. My mile time was down to 4:58 by the time I quit. And I'm paying for it dearly now. My body hurts everytime I move lol. The bad thing is, I've only been out of highchool for 1.5 years..

Yeh that real good man, never got that good at running, after spending time in the army(briefly unfortunately) i really got into Tabbing(Loaded march) carrying 20-25kg not including wepon, water, and helmet, aiming for 10min miles which involved running but brisk walking to break it up, carried this on after i was out untill maybe 2 year ago when i mooved to a flat in a city, Bu now back at the parents in the middle of no where might get back into it.

God thread idea btw Falcon

HEY! I've got one of those, a '62 Chris-Craft 16' Ski Boat - but mine needs a major hull rebuild with 4 cracked frames under the 283 and some other issues.

NICE!

That's what this is. My uncle's had this thing for at least 10 years now, and it's still pretty much just a bare hull. Need to finish the transom, run the exhaust, mount the gas tank, rebuild the carb, run new gas lines, get a new distributor, varnish everything, install the interior, and get the thing in the water. Can't wait to see this thing finished. Those old wooden boats are beautiful.

Yeah, I'm wondering what sort of trouble I've gotten myself into later in life. :surrender:

Wow, I bet that little wooden boat will rip with that small block in it... Nice project man.

I believe they do rather nicely. The boats aren't exactly "little", though. I think they weigh about 2000 lbs.

Most of the time i'm wrenching on cars or karts in the garage, I still do some head porting but not nearly as much as years past.

Other than that i've got a decent collection of Surefire flashlights and Benchmade pocket knives.

WOW! They didn't make many SkiBoat models, it's great to see another one, let alone the same year! :cheers2:

Here's a pic of ours from 10-15 years ago, back when it floated.

And you're in for a treat when you get yours running, these things are pretty hot, especially getting out of the hole. Ours would yank two slalom skiers up out of the water with no problem at all, and it's 283 has never been rebuilt as far as we can tell. Only downside of them is the relatively flat bottom makes for a harsh ride in rough water.

I strongly recommend adding a fin or two to the middle of the bottom of the hull, up under the flywheel - without them ours took forever to turn, and with them it really bit into the water and cornered like a champ.

Also, if you haven't already you NEED to contact the Mariner's Museum in Va, they've got the old C-C archives. You can get the Hull Carb, Build Plans (accurate scale drawings), and tons more. It was several years ago, but iirc I got everything they had on my boat for $50-75, money well spent!

Already covered. My uncle's got the build plan for it framed and hanging on his living room wall.

i liked that tv. the tv was not that old. it was only made in 1981. the only thing that sucks is i guess i didn't use it enough and it quit working. i now got a industrial 27" lcd screen which sucks because now i can't play duck hunt.
