Hey guys another question for the group.

So i understand you must order the correct chain for the right sprocket for the motor setup.

So here is what i ordered today and have at home.

Axle kit with 60 tooth sprocket.
I have a predator 13hp 420cc motor
40 series torque converter

What kind of chain do i need for this setup.

Is the #420 chain the correct chain?

Appreciate the help

it is for the axle sprocket (if that's the sprocket in the pic)

it is NOT for the TC you ordered.. or say it might not..

depending on what you ordered you might receive a #35 sprocket (which will not fit at all because of the different pitch)
or a #40 if you're unlucky which has identical pitch (1/2") but is too wide and has mismatching grooves for the 420 chain...
if you're lucky however it comes with a #41 sprocket, and that is perfectly fine to run 420 chain. (same roller dimension and width as #41 just a stronger pin to hold it all together)

So yeah buy 420 chain (much stronger than #41) but #41 will fit just as nicely onto the sprockets
AS LONG as you ordered your TC with a #41 sprocket of course.
