Hey Guys,

I thought I should share this deal that Harbor Freight has on a 220 Volt, 130 TIG/ 90 Arc Welder Inverter item # 91811.

220 Volt, 130 TIG/ 90 Arc Welder Inverter

This welder is normally $199.99. Well it's a closeout item now and get this, ... it's $49.99, yes that's right, $49.99!!!!

I bought the last one at the store by were I live. I also got the 2 year extended warranty for an additional $9.99.

Since I have the 2 year warranty on a product that has been discontinued, if something goes wrong with it, they have to replace it with the newer current model. :D

If your looking for a screaming deal on a Tig welder, ... get it now. Their is no more in the warehouse and what is in the stores is all their is.

Hit the phone, or miss out.

Sorry for the cell picture, I will replace them with one from my camera later when I get a chance.

I got that same welder, just not with that awesome price:censored: Did you get a tank and regulator for it too? It works fine with steel, ive gotten some nice beads out of it. Ive used it more for arc though, since i dont feel like making one of my parents drive me 25 minutes to get a refill of argon.

As being an owner of various harbor freight tools, ... I can sure see were people would be cautious on a harbor freight welder, but at the hobby level, they are just fine.

I have a harbor freight 90amp (mig 100) flux wire feed welder for almost 5 years now and have not had one bad experience. My co-worker has a Lincoln 100, ... and to be honest, if we both run flux wire, ... you cannot tell the difference what machine made what weld. If he runs gas with his, then and only then, can you tell the difference.

I bought the Tig welder as a hobby welder, not for any professional use. So this seems like a VERY GOOD deal to enter into the Tig welding realm.

Hi devino,

No I haven't bought a bottle or gauge for it yet. I have a bottle at work I will try on it first before I buy one. I figure I better try it first and see how it performs first. If I don't like it, ... ebay it will go.

I just bought a bottle filled with Argon and a regulator. I took it all to work to try out and, ... I left my freaking welding helmet at home.

I knew I was forgetting something when I left for work this morning. In the next day or so, I will try out this $49.00 HF TIG welder and will report my test results along with some pictures of my initial welds from this machine.
