I have a 6.5 clone on my go kart. It goes well but **** up hills, if i un govern it, will it be faster?

yes there will be more rpm but the power will not increase dramatically

you have to lower your gear ratio or get smaller tires, doing so will lower your top end, removing gov should bring your top end back to normal after the ratio change. what is your current gear ratio and drive-line setup, what is your tire size?

I removed my governor and i would say it let me get more out my engine.. I would say go ahead and remove it if you know alittle about engines and have common sense when riding.
