this isnt mine, but looks like a good deal. it has a 20mm shaft with no visable keyway tho, so if you have accsess to a machine shop it may be more usable.

they also sell a 13hp for £114 but it is tapered, and would need work. also needs fuel tank and exhaust.

That shaft is WAY too short to use with any clutch. Keyway or not.

would it not work with a long bolt?
if not it would still be cheaper than all 5.5hp clones on ebay, with a new crankshaft (£30), and the old one could be sold.

the 13hp. actually looks like quite a good deal, as you can make a header, and take the shaft to a machine shop. all you then need is a fuel tank.
it says it comes with a crank adapter, any ideas wat this is?

Yes, that is the technical term for a taper lock.

The crank adapter can bolted on to the crank shaft of the engine to extend it than you can cut it down to the required length
