Hello all.....new to this forum. Found it out of frustration....but a good frustration as a buddy gave me his kart because he couldn't find parts. Now for the fun part....I have a TyRod 4 kart with stripped female thread on the axle. Do they even make this axle any more? Am I going to have to replace the whole back end? The female threads on the axle are reversed which makes it hard to re tap them(currently trying to find a machine shop that can do it)
Any suggestions? Thanks.

Do you mean 'left hand' by reverse? That's not a problem. I'd be inclined to tap it to the next size up of you can open up the bolt hole for the mating part.

You are right..it's left hand. The bolt is a M10-1.25X30mm...Socket hex cap screw....which I could not find anywhere and I called all over the US and looked at every website I could find. I was able to get it made from some place in Europe(buddy got it made for free or else it was like 45 dollars).....I should be able to tap the axle you think? Even if I make it a little bigger and change the cap screw to right hand threads.
