I really like the looks of it so far Bret. And yes I do have a lot of hot air, but you may not like the smell according to my girlfriend!

Here are some before and after pictures of the rear sprocket that I have made less ugly (I think) and some shots of the brake pedal that I made mounted up.

In the pics you just posted. The one with the engine plate. Why os the R rear hole "L" shaped.

Is there a odd bolt pattern on this engine?

The original engine mount slots allowed for right to left engine location using one chain from the clutch to the rear sprocket and in turn the chain was to be adjusted with the rear axle adjusters, I wanted this engine to be as centered as possible in this frame so I had to slot the original mounting plate to accept the Sachs bolt pattern and mounting bolt sizes which are larger that the standard utility engine mounting bolts and make a jackshaft and I had to slot into the original mounting holes which is not a big deal so now the primary chain is adjusted by the slotted engine mount and the secondary chain is adjusted by the rear axle, I can play with different gear ratios real easy to my liking just by changing the sprockets on the jackshaft, currently the gear ratio is 6:5:1 using a 15 inch tall rear tire as I said before in a earlier post these are the widest tires that will fit on this frame using a 35 chain which I use on my karts also with excellent results but I do not buy Chinese made chain. If I did not make these modifications the engine would not be centered in the frame and it would not fit in this frame plus I would not have anywhere to put my right foot because even with the removal of the blower housing and fan the engine would have had to be mounted way to the right hand side of the mini bike in order for the clutch sprocket to align up with the rear sprocket using just one chain. I have also beefed up the engine mount underneath which you cannot see with one inch square tubing because this engine even in it's stock form is rated way higher in ft lbs of torque than any utility engine that was normally to be used on this frame as a power plant.

I did a little work on some prototype foot pegs that I will call "Gila Monster Claws" which will slip over the existing tubing foot pegs and be retained by 8-32 stainless steel set screws which will also act as a grip surface. I started out with some T-6 1.375 solid round bar and cut and bored them and then milled one surface down and drilled and tapped the holes for the set screws, more on these later.

I will test this design of foot peg out and see how I like it.
