I am looking at this Bonanza 215 Mini Bike frame, I have inquired to the company about the frame dimensions, I always loved the looks of the Bonanza frames, one of my friends when I was a kid had a Bonanza Mini Bike with the Hodaka 100 engine with the white gas tank.

Well, from what I remember.. you should find something bigger than the Bonanza (or make one yourself)
being as tall and massive as you are (I know, muscle and spermatic cords.. still you are one mountain of a man)
the mini bike shouldn't be too mini or you'll stumble into the ClownCar realms ;)

On the other hand.. you could carry the mini bike in your front pocket... so that's a plus, right :lolgoku:

Thanks Alex. "Spermatic Cord"
The spermatic cord is the cord-like structure in males formed by the vas deferens (ductus deferens) and surrounding tissue that runs from the deep inguinal ring down to each testicle. Its serosal covering, the tunica vaginalis, is an extension of the peritoneum that passes through the transversalis fascia.

You just never know what you might learn on this Forum.

Thanks I fixed it... However sounds like you pinch a "spermatic cord" and you will definitely get a CHIME!

I'm just hoping you don't hurt yourself with this one.....
If I get too intimidated and scared about riding this thing then I will make sure that I wear all my race gear as a precaution :lolgoku:

Hence the term pocket bike? Maybe I will hire a test dummy or a clown.

Make it longer than normal or stretch it a few extra inches...
I don't know what I am going to do yet, I need some measurements on a few different frames and then I will decide what I am going to do, buy or build, anyway it will be fun and just wait and see what I do to the engine as I have plans indeed!

Here is the Sachs SA290 with the cylinder removed, I can flip this cylinder along with the piston and have the exhaust and intake on either side of the engine front or back, I am going to phase the cylinder and piston so as the exhaust port faces the rear of the mini bike and the expansion chamber will be under the seat between the frame rails and exit over the rear tire, less of a chance of getting a leg branded with a hot expansion chamber.

Now I have to machine the PTO side of the crankshaft to accept this clutch.

This German two stroke engine from the late 60's had pretty good attention to detail given to it when it was designed, the transfer ports line up perfectly with the crankcase and no blending will be needed in their location, I am not building a fire breather with this engine but every little detail that needs to be addressed while the engine is down will be, there are plenty of areas that I can reduce the crankcase volume if I choose to along other things that may need to be corrected to squeeze just a little more power out of this engine with just some grunt work pretty much for free.
This cylinder is the standard bore and shows little wear with no ridge on the top or bottom of the piston ring travel, the cylinder walls still have crosshatch on them. Not a bad investment for 30.00
