looking to build an offroad cart with a 125 2 stroke engine. to start i have a frame which has no suspension. some old offroad tires, not alot of money and alot of drive. i need a list and possibly some websites to help me with this build. also wondering if there was a way to add a automatic transmission to one of these things.

If it's a 125 2-stroke dirt bike engine then it already has a manual transmission in it. Why would you want it to be auto? Auto's are ****.

A look through the "Photo Gallery & Project Log" section of this website is a good starting point.

IMHO, a 125 2 stroke will be too much for a kid that doesn't know how to shift, it's liable to get him killed. I'd look for something like a Honda Z50 or Yammie PW50 or 80, they have 3 or 4 speed manual/autos (shift but no clutch), and the power would be much more in line with something for a kid.

If you can find a honda CT-110 it would be perfect. 4 speed with auto clutch, 7.5hp. You can find them for $50 here with like 20,000 km on them. They are indestructible.
