I was just joking around about the high speed wobble. Clearly, this thing does not go 70 or 100 mph. Probably tops out under 45 or so. I'll give it a high speed run after I break it in a bit and have an oil change.
The steering is, however, a bit stiff due (probably) to my poor measuring and welding skills. Things are not lined up perfectly and a cut always takes a kerf--shortening the parts one is working on. Both the rack and the rack tube holder are about 1/8 inch shorter than they were before being cut.
Overall I'm pretty happy with the outcome--though it was a LOT more work than I first thought it would be.
Mostly though, with center steering I now no longer am able to pick up hitchhikers--who are mostly a PITA anyway...
